Wollumbin

Here's our favourite camping spot at Wollumbin, right underneath Mt Warning and hidden amongst the tropical rainforest. We've been coming here for almost 15 years and we never tire of the magic of the place. We've had friends living nearby in the caravan park from time to time and it is always a welcome sight to see Mt Warning appear as we know we are nearing our home away from home.


The QEIII at Wollumbin, parked outside my old mate Chris's caravan. Many is the time I have arrived in the early hours of the morning to be greeted by the 3 solar lights Chris had installed around the van. We had some magic times here. Unfortunately the park has changed hands and we've yet to see what the new owners will do with it.
